Val Venosta: MTB tours, trails and plenty of sunshine

The bike spot in South Tyrol

Hardly another valley in South Tyrol offers MTB tours with such a large and varied network for bikers as the Val Venosta. The 80-km-long valley has numerous different starting points and countless side valleys, offering mountain bike routes at virtually any altitude and all levels of riding challenges. Wherever your hotel or accommodation – you can get to any starting point within 30–60 minutes by car. Purists leave their cars behind and opt for the more beautiful approach via the Val d’Adige cycle path.

Side valleys in Val Venosta with trails for bikers

There are side valleys up to 22 km long, rising up to 2,000 metres and surrounded by steep mountain slopes on both sides of the valley. Small paths run through the mountain slopes flanking the many, often isolated, mountain farms. You are guaranteed to find the perfect MTB trail for your riding technique, which promises to be loads of fun. All the more because the end of the valley is usually above the tree line and opens up to a magnificent mountain panorama.

Val Senales, Val Martello, Taitschroi, Val di Solda, Val di Mazia, Val di Monastero, Valle di Slingia, Val Planol, Vallelunga, Val di Roia

A single Val Venosta MTB holiday is not enough for the sheer number of valleys in Val Venosta alone.
