Course: cable car San Martino al Monte – San Martino al Monte – trail Tschilli – Laces

Those who want to ride downhill, need to go up the mountain first. So we start our tour at the cable car to San Martino al Monte (check the schedule to see when bike transportation is allowed). From the mountain terminal of the cable car we ride the first 1,2 km on the street to reach our first trail on the right side (trail no. 9, "Tschili Trail"). After the first section, we get to a forest road and to the "Ratschillhof" farm, which is worth a visit for its local specialties. The farm also gives our trail its name. What follows are flowy sections with roots, berms and jumping ramps which make the trail great fun. We get to the plateau "Annaberger Böden" where we can ride on high speed, all while enjoying a jawdropping background scenery. We stop for a minute to appreciate the beautiful view into the Val Venosta down to Merano. Back on the trail, we ride the last part, which is technically a little bit more demanding as the rest, to reach the village Tiss. There we find ourselves in the middle of the apple orchards. We turn left and ride eastwards towards Laces, the final destination of our tour.
