Description
We start our e-bike culture and pleasure tour in Naturno and cycle along the apple orchards to Castelbello and further to Laces. We don't take the classic cycle path, but instead ride along the secret tracks through the apple orchards, where our guide tells us all about apple cultivation. We arrive in Covelano and from here the picturesque cycle path takes us to Lasa, where we make our first stop right at the railway station. In the station building, we watch an impressive film about the origin, history, quarrying and processing of Lasa marble, the ‘white gold’ of the Val Venosta Valley. (approx. 30 min.) We then cycle through the marble village to reach the Venustis shop, where we take a break and sample local specialities and homemade delicacies (cost €15/person for film screening and food). Refreshed, we cycle back along the cycle path towards Naturno. At Silandro, we leave the cycle path again and cycle a short distance uphill to the village of Vezzano. We reach Laces via a beautiful panoramic path and past the Castle of Coldrano. From here, we tackle the last few kilometres and cycle back to Naturno via the cycle path.
If any of the participants wish to leave the tour early, there is the option of returning by train.
