Description
We load the bikes and take the bike shuttle to Silandro. (approx. 30 min).
From here we start our E-MTB tour and cycle along the cycle path to Lasa and then uphill into the Lasa valley to the 'Tarnellhöfe' farms. We follow the marble road to the Covelano marble quarry. This quarry produces one of the purest white marbles in the world. After an ascent of around 1,500 metres, we reach the highest point of the tour, the Covelano marble quarry at 2,180 metres. Here we enjoy the wonderful panorama and get inspired by the marble. Then, along a gravel path and meadows, we arrive at the lunch stop at the Covelano alpine hut. Food and drink are well catered for here!
From the alpine hut, we continue on beautiful and sometimes difficult paths (small push-pull passage) and reach the 'Haslhof' farm on the Nörderberg in Silandro. We now follow the 'Holy Hansen' path and the 'Aigentrail' trail to Morter and back to Silandro to our starting point. The bike shuttle takes us back to Naturno. If participants wish, they can also cycle the 20 kilometres back `from` Silandro by bike/ E-MTB.
