Highlights: Nice views on the nearby of Naturno, Castle of "Dornsberg", Castle of Juval, Castle of Castelbello, short guided tour of the organic vegetable garden at the 'Karthein Hof' farm in Ciardes.
Description:
We cycle `from` the centre of Naturno along Via Stazione to 'Dornsberg'. We pass Castle 'Dornsberg' to reach Plaus. Passing through the small village of Plaus and still heading towards Merano we reach Rablá. From here we return on the cycle path to Naturno. At this point the small round tour ends. (15km) From Naturno to Stava we see the castle Juval. From Stava we continue in the direction of Ciardes, `where` organic farmer Elisabeth or organic farmer Peter `from` Karthein Hof awaits us. Right next to the cycle path is her organic vegetable garden, `where` she gives us a little taste of her work! With more information on the cultivation of organic vegetables, our tour now takes us to Castelbello. In the 'Gstirnerkeller' restaurant we take a short break. Fortified, we return to Naturno.
